Scale Test
This device is used to measure the actual tonnage output based on hydraulic pressure. It is commonly used on drilling machine to :
- Standardize operator practices in using the pulldown lever (MTO).
- Set and maintain minimum or maximum pressure levels for each material layer, based on idenntified material hardness.
- Standardize unit performance and detect deviations in operation.
Bailing Velocity Tools
This device is used to measure the actual bailing velocity from a drill hole. It is commonly applied in drilling operations to:
- Evaluate the impact of different soil layers on bailing velocity output.
- Measure the airflow rate (in cubic feet per minute) used to lift cuttings out of the hole.
- Compare bailing velocity performance between drilling units.
